Capturing the frontlines. Revealing the heart of the mission.
“A lens can go where words cannot—and sometimes, that’s where the story begins.”

Bio
Jimmy Torres is a Honduran-born photojournalist and cinematographer with a deep calling to document the Gospel in motion. Raised in Central America and shaped by global missions work, Jimmy brings a raw, immersive style to every assignment, capturing moments of transformation with honesty, beauty, and reverence.
As Photojournalist for the MissionWake News Collective, Jimmy documents the frontlines of revival, from the streets of the Bronx to rural villages abroad. His camera work goes beyond images. It bears witness. Whether through still photography, documentary footage, or shortform visual stories, Jimmy captures the people, places, and spiritual breakthroughs that often go unseen.
With years of experience filming crusades, city outreaches, and humanitarian work across Latin America and the United States, Jimmy understands how to tell a story from within the movement, not outside of it. His work is Spirit-led, mission-aligned, and grounded in the belief that God is always doing something worth remembering.
Through MissionWake, Jimmy continues to travel into the heart of neighborhoods, churches, and mission fields, carrying a lens of expectation and a heart for truth. His mission is simple: help the world see what God is doing…one image at a time.
